Friday Favorites 10

Happy Friday! It's time for another Friday Favorites post. This is already my 10th post in this series! I've been enjoying putting these posts together and I hope you're enjoying them too.

- I picked up a bamboo topper for my sewing room cart. It's a cart from ikea, and they recently (I think!) released a cutting board that fits right on top. I'm going to keep my pins and other tools safely tucked away underneath.

- I sowed my first seeds of 2022! I did some winter sowing of rudbeckia, echineacea, and candy tuft. I tried this for the first time last year and it worked great.


- I started a new weaving project this week and I have to give a shoutout to Miss Babs Yowza yarn. It's a huge 560 yard skein of DK, so it's plenty to use for both the warp and weft on a weaving project, which is awesome.

- I've been a long time fan of Helen Dardik's work and she has a new puzzle out, Mushroom Toomuchery*.


- Treated myself to an early birthday gift! This cordless stapler*. I have used the same manual one for many years, but I have trouble squeezing it. I made another piece of quilted artwork (sharing next week I hope), and it felt like a good time to upgrade. It was so much easier to use!

- How cool is Make & Mend's new cashwrap made by Two Hands Design. Makes me what to combine some quilty elements into my woodworking projects.


- Made these Brown Soda Bread Scones from Smitten Kitchen on Wednesday. It was my first time using wheat germ and wheat bran. They turned out really good!

- I went on a little digital pattern buying spree on Etsy this weekend, trying to support some Ukrainian designers. Here are a few of my purchases: this cross stitch pattern bundle*, this crochet pattern*, and this knitting pattern*.


- Dusty enjoying her new litter cabinet!
