February Monthly Report
Happy Monday! It's time for the February monthly report. See past reports here.
I did a decent amount of sewing this month! First up, I made two laundry size bags. One I immediately used to gift a quilt. The other will probably be used for a gift eventually, I made it for my stash of bags. And to use up some fabric of course!
Laundry size bag can be found in my Lined Drawstring Bag Pattern. Twill and beads can be found in my shop.
I also made two bags to show off the new twill tapes that I'm stocking. Read all about them here if you're interested: Ruler Paper Drawstring Bag + New Twill Tape
I pulled fabrics and made backings for two old quilt tops this month. Now they're all ready for quilting! Both were made in the process of writing my book.
To keep myself accountable for my stash goals, I track my yardage for fabric and yarn each month. Read more about how I track here. Here is how I did in February:
February Fabric
Used up: 6.25 yards
Brought in: 3 yards
Net: -3.25 yards
Year to date: -9.5 yards
February Yarn
Used up: 0 yards
Brought in: 0 yards
Net: 0 yards
Year to date: 0 yards
Most of the sewing I did this month was drawstring bags! I also made my first fabric purchase of the year, some of this rayon* for a dress. I also made two other small projects that I'll be sharing soon.
Time to check in my with 2022 crafty goals. This month I:
- Made backings for two long-term WIPS.
- Worked on my scrap quilt!
- Knit on my mitten project.
- Picked out yarn for my next weaving project.
Made another batch of milk bread this month. This time I made it into pull apart rolls. It turned out so delicious. It's so soft and fluffy. Recipe is from Mooncakes and Milkbread by Kristina Cho.*
Dusty loves heating pads. :)
Have a Great Month!

Congratulations for a minus 9+ yards so far this year! The picture of Dusty makes me want to cuddle up with him.
