November Monthly Report
Happy December! It's time for November's monthly report. See past reports here.
Thank you to everyone who purchased patterns over the weekend during my sale! I really appreciate it!
I dug into some of my very smallest scraps this month to make this tiny drawstring bag! I've had a bag of super skinny Liberty lawn scraps that have been patiently waiting to be used. A tiny drawstring bag seemed like the perfect use! This is the foundation pieced variation in my Lined Drawstring Bag Expansion Pattern.
My ironing board cover was looking a little worse for wear, so I decided to make a new one. I used my old one as a template to make the new one. I used this adorable strawberry fabric designed by Kim Kight. It was originally part of her Yours Truly* collection, but is also included in the new Ruby Star Society Darlings* collection.
My obsession with strawberry fabric is still going strong, and I know this cover will make me happy every time I see it!
The big project I worked on this month is my Christmas quilt. I'm happy to say that I finished it! I'm hoping to photograph and share it here this week.
To keep myself accountable for my stash goals, I track my yardage for fabric and yarn each month. Read more about how I track here. Here is how I did in November:
November Fabric
Used up: 15.5 yards
Brought in: 0 yards
Net: -15.5 yards
Year to date: -89 yards
November Yarn
Used up: 0 yards
Brought in: 0 yards
Net: 0 yards
Year to date: -426 yards
Back on track this month, used up a good chunk of yardage without bringing any in! I'm setting myself a mini goal for the end of the year to end up at -100 yards or better. Not quite to the level or some of my previous years, but that's okay!
The last few flowers came in the day before our first hard frost, which wasn't until November 9th! I can't believe how late it was. They all happened to coordinate nicely.
George the bunny, always finding the sunshine when he can!
Have a Great Month!

That's an impressive amount used, especially without buying any new. WTG!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture to open your post with! I love the red reindeer! Those fabrics in your Christmas quilt are really cute! Looking forward to seeing it quilted! You did a wonderful job using up so much fabric and not buying any. I can't imagine going a whole month without buying fabric!
