Hi there! Long time no see! All I can manage at the moment are some phone photos, but I'll be back tomorrow with real photos of my Quilt Market booth, I swear! For now, I still feel like a zombie! So, let's catch up!
We aren't used to seeing mountains like this in the midwest, so I always snap photos when I have this view!
George (pillow version) came along for the ride!
The before photo! The very sweet Christina and Megan were total lifesavers. Christina picked us up from the airport and they both helped with shopping and putting all the furniture together, don't know what I would have done without them!
A little peek of the finished booth! More tomorrow!
Friday night we visited Modern Domestic, a ridiculously cool fabric shop/sewing lounge. It was so darn awesome. I can't wait to come back and visit!
We saw the sunshine for about 5 minutes the last full day we were there. It was so comforting to feel the warm sun!
It's pretty crazy how fast everything comes down in the end.
My super awesome roommates, Art Gallery Fabrics ladies: Anais, Jeanee, and Marcela. They were so sweet to me!
We managed to squeeze in a stop to Voodoo Doughnut as we were headed out of town. It was so yummy!
Killed time in the airport with a little shopping. Bunny earrings! Also, I watched Portlandia a few weeks before the trip, so obviously I had to get something Marionberry, haha.
Took three flights to get home, needless to say it was a long day!
Somebunny was very glad that I was finally home!
See you tomorrow!

I bet you had the time of your life! Looks like a lot of hard work, but A LOT of fun. Your bunny pillow is total cuteness. Did you make it. I want to make a paper piecing pattern of our two buns, but I'm still too new to piecing to attempt it..yet!
ReplyDeleteMy oldest 12 fell in love with bunnies this fall when he signed up for FFA at his school. We are now the owners of two little men. Shaggy is a lion head/mini rex mix breed and Astro is a black/white Dutch. We just adore them. My son will be showing the Dutch in the fall at competitions for his FFA group.
How do you get George to sit so calmly in his cute little bed?!
Cindy
Aw Jeni you were one of my favorite people to meet and you had one of my favorite booths, too! So excited to get my hands on your new line (not sure if the name is officially announced yet, so I'll play it coy...hehe)!
ReplyDeleteStand looks amazing, well done you. I can imagine how blissful it was to get home though. And how my little boys love to see your bunny. I think there may be one in our future one day...
ReplyDeleteLooks like an amazing trip. Portland is a wonderful town! Can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteJeni your booth looked great and I know your line will be a big hit! I can't wait to sew with it. Congratulations.
