Happy Tuesday! I wanted to be able to provide for you all (and let's be honest, for me too) a one stop location for all things Color Me Retro. It's due to hit stores very soon, so I wanted to make sure and get things in order before then! The "Fabric" tab up above will have information about my fabrics, links to projects, posts, videos and photos about it, and also, a list of shops that will be carrying them. As a part of those resources I wanted to list the Art Gallery blenders, Aurifil thread colors, and DMC Embroidery Floss that match the collection. So, without further ado, let's dive in!
The first of Color Me Retro's three prints is Florette, available in three colors: Ruby, Crystal, and Sapphire.
The next print is Dulcette, available in three colors: Azalea, Lobelia, and Bluestar.
Finally, the last print, Kitchenette, is available in four colors: Raspberry, Apple, Honeydew, and Blueberry.
The following Art Gallery Pure Element Solids match: 405 Cherry Lipgloss, 406 Burnt Orange, 409 Light Citron, 416 Lemonade, 423 Appletini, 414 Dark Citron, 403 Fresh Water, 424 Mirage Blue, 415 Parisian Blue.

You can find photos showing the Kitchenette print from each colorway (which covers all the colors from the collection!), with color cards in the slideshow below, or in this Color Matching flickr set!
Voila! You can find LOTS of photos of Color Me Retro in this flickr set! I hope that this information is helpful for you when you're scheming your projects! Not too much longer and it will be here! :)
Oh my gosh! I wish every fabric designer would do this!!! Having a list of matching fabric and thread is A-MAAAHHH-ZING!!! (You should be happy that I live far away too...otherwise I would probably run over and kiss you right now!)
ReplyDeleteYou think of everything! Or was that George ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are truly a wicked enabler!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Not only is it a great collection, but you've taken the time to help us with coordinating solid, thread, and even embroidery floss! So many times I've wanted to buy something from a line or a pack of fat quarters and wished there was some easy way to figure out what colors went with them. This is great! Can't wait to get my hands on some.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome Jeni. Any chance you could add coordinating kona colours? Art gallery solids are a lot harder to find around here.
ReplyDeleteI can not wait for your line to become available! I NEED IT!! :D
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet! Thanks for this info... Congrats on your fabric line!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all this! Awesome reference....
ReplyDeleteAw so cute, Jeni! Can't wait to see this in stores!! Eep!
ReplyDeleteThese are sooo cool! I am obsessed with color, especially bright colors, and these all fit my criteria! There's so many cool things to do with fabric like these, it's great!

Super organised and forward thinking of you!! I was only wishing last week that this sort of information was more readily available :) thank you so much! x
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate this, and plan on putting the info to really good use :) Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to do all this. What a lot of help this will be :) Knowing what white to use would also be helpful (if anyone still uses white as a background) Your fabric is beautiful btw! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it when you make finding the coordinating fabrics so easy! Beautiful fabrics, they may have to join my stash when I lift my fabric buying ban :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love it!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! this is so very helpful, I love that you matched the threads as well....
ReplyDeleteStacey
I wish designers (or bloggers) would do this for more lines. It would be soooo helpful and a great resource...and probably generate a lot of blog traffic. For example, Simply Color by V&Co and Architextures by Carolyn Friendlander...I would really like to know which Kona Cottons, Moda Bellas, Aurifil threads, Gutermann threads, Art Gallery solids, Michael Miller Cotton Coutures, etc. will match those lines.
ReplyDeleteLove these fabrics! Congratulations Jeni! Can't wait to see all the projects~!
ReplyDeleteYou created some beautiful fabrics! I love how you put them all together like this to showcase the collection!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely!
ReplyDeleteI hope you won't think it patronizing when I say it, but I am old enough to be your mother so I'll just say it, I'm so Proud! Proud! Proud! of you that you that you have designed, marketed, sold, whatever, this line of beautiful fabrics!! You go girl! You are just Great!
ReplyDeleteWow ... I love those fabrics. My favorites are always the "blenders" and those are some beautiful blenders. I'm so glad I found you,
ReplyDeleteMary
Everything looks gorgeous, Jeni! I love how you gave so many matching options-- I often find I'm doing this on my own for other collections. Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting to see this post! I know it will be available very soon. Can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you posted this!! Someone else said it above but I wish all fabric lines would do this. I love your line and can't wait to see the next! Congrats on the release!
