My sewing space is being featured as the Sewing Room of the Month for February on the Art Gallery Fabrics blog today! I'm very excited because I LOVE their fabrics, hehe! The many different elements (Oval, Pure, Nature, etc!) especially! So, if you'd like to hear about and see my space, head on over! :)
Thanks for having me Art Gallery!
Just saw your pics on Flickr- your space is quite inspiring. Makes me want to go in mine and spruce it up!
ReplyDeleteI just saw that half an hour ago and didn't twig it was you! Love your space and all your vintage bric a brac. :-)
ReplyDeletePlease come to my house and organize my space. Congrats on being featured.
ReplyDeleteJust got the email from Art Gallery Fabrics. I went onto there site to have a look and seen a quilt that looked alot like your work on the wall and I'm reading your article and I'm thinking that sounds like Jeni. I finally get to the bit about George and twig it is you, duh, cause it says your name. Bloody baby brain! Anyway I was excited to see you on there, well done.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great space Jeni! I love all the personal touches all around. The minis on the wall is a great solution to the renters white. Love!
ReplyDeleteYour room is wonderful! Jen, have we seen the zig zag quilt that is on the wall? I can only see a tiny bit of it but it certainly is gorgeous. Congrats on being featured!
ReplyDeleteI always love the photos of your sewing space, organized but so pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice space ~ love that you have the kitchen things in your sewing room because they make you happy!
ReplyDeleteI also like what you've done with your Single Girl quilt. I've got all my pieces ready to sew but couldn't decide on a background. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love the pots and pans and pyrex! Colors that are happy!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing it from a renters perspective too. We move a lot and so not only can I not paint, I don't even want to! But I like my space to look nice. I finally started hanging things up in my sewing room (also a bedroom). I don't have an overhead light or heat in the room though (it sounds strange I know) so that is a downside for me.
ReplyDeleteLove your sewing room Jeni. I'm a renter too - I have to share my sewing space with the dining room. Luckily I have my own table and can keep my machine set up. I never thought about decorating my walls with mini quilts though - how do you hang them? I'm going to do it! Your blog is so inspiring.

Very cheery and inspiring room to create beautiful things!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - how exciting!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Collections are meant to be enjoyed. Love that you have them in your space! My sewing area is in an unfinished basement, not nearly as pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great space to sew in! That Saltines tin caught my eye immediately, I collect tins (I guess, so my husband says anyway..) I've never seen one like that before!
