It was a very full weekend! My Mom and Aunt visited and we shopped and ate all weekend long! It was a lot of fun! :)
I squeezed in a little time to sew up this mini quilt featuring Lizzy House fabrics from 1001 Peeps and Outfoxed. It's pretty small at 10" square. I knew that little foxed needed his own project and I can't say no to another mini! Sometimes it's nice to just have a quick project that you don't need to think much about!
Snatched up a super cute mini Hoppel made by the talented Isa, which arrived last week! He is SO cute! And so tiny :)
I may have gone overboard. Enough voile to make a LOT more scarves! ;) Glad you all have enjoyed the tutorial from last week!
Made a batch of mini ham and cheese muffins for dinner tonight. I use this recipe as a base but use cubed ham steak, mozzarella and cheddar cheese instead!
Good few weeks of thrifting! Updated the shop with lots of new prints! :)
Finally, finally found a turquoise vintage fan! At an antique mall, but still! It's mine now. And, it works!
Happy Halloween! From George & I!

ReplyDeletesuch a cute outfoxed mini!
ReplyDeletealso, loving the AMH fabric. so pretty!
Omigosh George!!! I think I just died of cuteness!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, can I come to your house? You always seem to get so much more accomplished than me - maybe you could give me a swift kick in the pants?
Adorable picture of George! I don't think you can have too many scarves. They totally change an outfit or give bland outfits a spark of color. And they don't take up too much room to store!
ReplyDeleteAs always lots of lovely fabric goodies to look at - love the foxy mini - very cute. Not to sure I should thank you for sharing the muffin recipe! I have just clicked to follow that foody blog and I feel it couldbe a bit dangerous!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find the voile? I want to make one of those scarves but I'm not sure my LQS carries it. Also love your little fox mini quilt, that fabric is so fun =)
ReplyDeleteGeorge is the sweetest little thing, such a good temperment! I love Iove your mini quilt, it's so cute!! Do you frame any and hang them on the wall? Also the fan is great! You find the greatest stuff, I wish I could go and find some goodies at the thrift stores.
ReplyDeleteMmm, I gotta try that recipe!
ReplyDeleteThose voiles are just lovely! Do you back all your scarves in flannel or do you do a two voile combo ever?? I'm going to make a two voile (AMH) combo, extra long scarf today I think!!!
ReplyDeleteGeorge is so cute!! (and all your other goodies, too!) ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your little fox mini, the quilting really sets it off. George gets me every time, and I had to comment when I saw Fresca. I've become fairly addicted to the Black Cherry Citrus flavor. I enjoy your blog, it's a delight to read and your projects are always fabulous!
ReplyDeleteoh, that George is way too cute and the quilt block is nice too.
ReplyDeleteSqueee! George is at his most adorable, isn't he?! I didn't even know Fresca was still out there...haven't seen it in the stores here in forever. Love the mini, and I'm headed over for the recipe! Always fun to visit with you!
ReplyDeleteLove the fox mini! And the Hoppel Hase! :-) And that's one stylish fan! But my favourite is that pic of George! <3
