I should preface this by saying that I need another pincushion like I need another bag, haha. But, that didn't stop me from making two new ghostie pincushions from yesterday's fabric stack! I was totally inspired by Lindsay's ghostie block, knew I needed to whip something up with these fabrics too! The ghost fabrics are from Matilda by Cosmo Cricket! I also used this yummy sparkly linen from JoAnns! For the first time, I filled my pincushions with crushed walnut shells, aka lizard litter! It has such a nice weight! The lady at the pet shop was highly amused by this. But don't worry, in a nice way :)

Last week, Lizzy House listed a limited number of fabric scrap boxes from all her fabric lines. It was a total impulse, but I'm so glad I jumped on it, they sold out super quick! The box arrived today and boy oh boy, couldn't be happier! Look at all that goodness! My stash has tons of Lizzy's fabric in it, probably second only to Erin McMorris fabric! :)
I've been a procrastinator, as usual! Just now starting my Kona solids challenge project for the Madison Modern Quilt Guild. Our meeting is next Monday, whoops! I better get to work!
I worked all weekend long restocking the shop with scrap packs, stripe bundles, charm packs, and wrapped wreath kits! :)

ReplyDeleteI always use walnut shells in mine. You can also buy them at Farm & Fleet for much cheaper. But you need to buy a larger quantity.
