New Bag by jenib320
New Bag, a photo by jenib320 on Flickr.
Made a new bag for shopping at Sewing Summit! I used the Jane Market Bag pattern with my usual edits: fusible fleece, interfacing in the pocket and handles, 6" strip added to lengthen handles, and peltex in the bottom.

I decided right away to use the Japanese milk cap fabric from Ayumi's shop and pulled the other fabrics from the cap colors. I used Quilter's Linen for the outside, Japanese milk cap fabric for the pocket, Lizzy House's 1001 peeps for the center, Joel Dewberry's Modern Meadow and Aviary for the handles and a thrifted stripe for the interior!

Finished up my name tag! Used some ric-rac to help up the cool factor! Makes me think of dinosaur spikes :)

Yippee! Finally finished off this iconic Pyrex bowl set! I have had the middle two bowls for a while, but when I was recently gifted the green bowl (Thanks again Sandy!!), I had to finish it up! :)

Was happy to find this partial Verde bowl set at the thrift today for $5! I was in need of a bowl set to actually use as everyday bowls. The goofy thing is, I had the 404, but got rid of it before I moved! Oh well :)

  8. Jeni, I'm new to your blog from Stash Manicure. I finally was able to follow, it took a while for it to work for me. Anyway, I wanted to tell you of a blog I think you'd enjoy. It's called The Raspberry Rabbits, and it's run by Michelle (Shell) May. She has two pet rabbits and they are as adorable as yours. She is a folk artist and quilts and makes patterns in her at home studio. She's a really great gal. Love your blog and can't wait to read more. Thanks. Debbie from Designs by Debbie and Dixie Too! blog.
