I'm joining in on Meg's Finish it Up challenge this summer! It's a challenge aimed at trying to finish up Works in Progress (WIPs). Today is the first check in! So, here are my current WIPs.
1. Warm Cool Quilt Along. HSTs cut and pressed!
2. April quilt for do. Good Stitches Hope circle. Top is pieced!
3. Two zipper pouches for friends! Front and back are pieced, the rest is cut out!
4. Single Girl Quilt (Baby size!) 1 ring pieced, 3 to go!
5. Mendocino Mermaid Quilt (King size). 8 blocks finished!
6. {Modern 12} Bee Quilt. 8 blocks, 1 more needed.
7. 3x6 Mini Bee Quilt, 30 blocks, need to replace one!
8. Quilted table runner for a gift. Top pieced!
9. Bee Hexed March block. Hexagons all pieced!
10. Paper pieced hexagons. Hexagons created but very few pieced!
11. United States embroidery. 22 states done!
12. Two cross-stitches. Both pieces about halfway done!
My plan is to get as many of these finished up as I can. I have no intentions of getting them all done, most especially my Mendocino Quilt or United States embroidery. I've enjoyed the slowness of these projects, and don't want to rush them! :)
Wow, Jeni... all of your projects are really beautiful. The colors you choose are so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI am completely jealous of your Mendocino Mermaid quilt. I missed that whole fabric line and am not willing to pay the outrageous prices for it online now... Its going to be AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteholy cow! i thought i had a lot on my plate! work it gurl! :D
ReplyDeletewow! lots of cool projects.
ReplyDeletehow many beautiful works!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. This just may make me get some things finished!
ReplyDeleteYour projects are so inspiring. I love the idea of a Finish It Up Challenge.
ReplyDeleteWow thats a lot! And if you're anything like me, you're gonna start some more along the way:D
ReplyDeleteAwesome, awesome! I love it all. I wish all of mine were all so lovely. ;0p
ReplyDeletean imposing list of amazing projects! best of luck!
ReplyDeleteyou seriously have all these projects going on!? oh dear. where do you find the time.
ReplyDeleteeach is more beautiful then the next! can't wait to see them all come together.
They are all so beautiful. You have a fun fulled sewing summer ahead.
ReplyDelete::love:: your modern 12 bee blocks! I think the point of this challenge is to finish what we have, not be inspired and start a new project LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm only showing 3 at a time. Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteI really love your Mermaid quilt. I can't wait to see more! I made a new rule for myself: I have to finish 2 WIPs before i start every new project. I hate it, and I hate all of the UFOs in my cupboard, but I really want to start some new things, and make room for more fabric! So I'm sticking to my new rule! :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, so many beautiful WIPs in your corner! I think I'll join up as well. I've got lots of crafty finishing goals before the end of the summer. Good luck in tackling your list!
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow! I had no idea you had so many lovely works in progress. You must have a great organization system. My sewing corner/dining room seems to clog up at 3 in process ;)
ReplyDeleteThe binding on the April quilt is absolutely gorgeous.
