Have you heard about this?! It's a modern sewing and blogging conference! It's being held in Salt Lake City, UT, this coming October! It's going to be so much fun! We are all scattered all over the country and the world, and it's going to be such a great opportunity to meet each other in person! And it's far enough away, that we can all save enough pennies to make the trip! There are going to be lots of speakers and classes on top of all the socializing!
I am very excited and honored to be teaching a class on fabric selection!! I AM SO EXCITED! Hope you can all come! :) For more info, check out their great website: Sewingsummit.com!
I couldn't leave this beauty at goodwill today! It's just too cheerful!
Found a few sheets today, not much but I love the plaid!
I was baaaad! I had a momentary lapse. I went to my LQS's big superbowl sale. Whoops! ;)
Started piecing my folksy flannels quilt! SO excited to finish and use this one!
George baby!

That is so awesome you're teaching! I really hope I get to go. You'll be fabulous.
ReplyDeleteEverything in this post is so pretty, I love the new header, love the teapot photo, and you're totally making me want to sew up my Folksy Flannels! BTW, a diet requires cheating every now and then so don't feel guilty:)

ReplyDeleteLove your Oops moment! :) Still haven't had one since Jan. 1, but going to my mom's tomorrow and might be forced to go fabric shopping... mad at hubby, so maybe a self-pity binge is in order? :) Adore the teapot - so pretty in the snow! Getting ready to lay out the shower curtain on the design wall soon! :)

ReplyDeleteI sooooooooooo (sew!) want to go the Sewing Summit! Does anyone know yet what the cost will be? I live in Provo, so the chances are good that I will make it (if the registration fee isn't too far out of my budget). :)
