I have been feeling so inspired by vintage sheets lately. I have been very lucky to find some great prints over the last few months! In addition to the sheets I love to pick up pillowcases as well. They're usually quite a bit cheaper than the sheets (for obvious reasons!) and are often brighter than the sheets. I wish I had more time to sew right now, I really want to get started on my vintage sheet quilt! I started a bit of the cutting this evening but just a little.
I received these lovely vintage sheet fat quarters in a swap with one of my flickr friends, Sheila! It's funny when some of the online flickr communities start to overlap. I originally met Sheila through collecting Pyrex and then we both got involved in the Vintage Sheet Patchwork Swap! A similar thing happened with Amanda! I met her through quilting and sewing and then she started to collect Pyrex! :)
Trying to start drinking tea more often! Tonight it was strawberry tea :) It was a great excuse to use my new mug rug from the Doll Quilt Swap!
George sure does love his box :)
Today I love the..
Smell of: Tea
Sound of: Harry Potter 6
Taste of: Takeout from Maya
Sight of: George
Feel of: George
Good Things about Today:

- Excellent mail day!
- Had time to play with some fabric.
- Feeling okay about school today.
that mug rug is cuuuuute! I'm sorry your sinuses are acting up >:( thats the worst! One of my favorite things to do is to boil a pot of water on the stove and add two-three drops of eucalyptus oil, then drape a towel over my head and over the pan...shut the heat off and then breathe in the steam. It'll loosen stuff in your head up & help you breathe better!!!! xo
ReplyDeleteps I love that george is hanging out in a priority box...maybe it's a hint that he wants to come visit me! ;)
I just have to say how much I love your blog. It always makes me smile!
