Doll Quilt Swap - Received!, originally uploaded by jenib320.
I received my quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap 9! It is beautiful! It was made by Adrienne (craftingmomof1 on flickr!), my secret swap partner! It's full of cute whimsical fabrics and the style is totally me! I'm going to be hanging it right over my machine! :) It is so heartwarming to receive something handmade that was really tailored to fit your style. I love swapping with all you talented gals (and guys!) out there in the quilty world. There are so many talented and thoughtful quilters in the online community. Receiving such a lovely swap reminds me how much I love being a part of these kinds of swaps, meeting fun new people and spreading the handmade love! :) *end mushy rambling!*

Major score thrifting today! Found this awesome blue Dansk Kobenstyle enamel pot for $3 at Salvation Army! Also picked up two great vintage pillowcases. I had seen this pattern online a few months ago and fell in love with it. So happy to find a bit of it!

  4. Is that new blue pot going to be your butter melter? That's what it looks like to me. I had never heard of those until reading your blog. I have been reading from when you started but lost my spot. Trying to find where I left off. N
