I really love the designs of Erin McMorris. I have a healthy stash of her newest line, Weekends but am still trying to add to my stashes of Park Slope and Wildwood. I especially love Park Slope. I was just behind the curve on that line!
I really only just started buying "designer" fabrics a few months ago! My stash grew pretty quickly, but there are a few lines I wish I had been around for. Flea Market Fancy (of course!), Mendocino, Garden Party, Wildwood, Lizzy Dish, and Red Letter Day to name a few! :)
What lines do you wish you had purchased more of when they came out?

Started piecing my Castle Peeps quilt today! The squares had gotten tucked away and I had forgotten about them. I'm excited to get this one finished! It's taking a while though, it's made up of 304 squares! Hopefully I'll get it pieced soon.
I hung up a few mini quilts in my sewing corner today, including my doll quilt from the swap! Figured this meant I should take new photos! :)
Rearranged my inspiration board too!
I really like having all these little quilts in one place! I think one day I want to have a whole wall filled with different mini quilts. How cute would that be?
Squeezed in a little thrifting! :)

Simple Roasted Pumpkin Seeds Recipe
Fall is here! I picked up a pumpkin today to make one of my favorite foods, roasted pumpkin seeds. This is the recipe I use every year. They're a great snack and they're good for you too!
Simple Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups of pumpkin seeds*
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt (use less if using salted butter)
*Approx the amount in a medium/large carving pumpkin.
If you have more or less than 1 1/2 cups of seeds, just add or subtract a bit of butter/salt to compensate. Believe me, it's hard to go wrong!
1. Carve your pumpkin and separate the seeds from the stringy-pumpkin bits.
2. Put your seeds in a strainer and rinse well to get rid of any stray bits.
3. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lay seeds out to dry on a towel for 30 minutes, pat dry with a paper towel, or dry out in the oven for a few minutes. You want to make sure they're completely dry before roasting so they get nice and crispy!
4. Mix seeds, melted butter, and kosher salt in a mixing bowl. Stir to coat. Pour seeds out onto a sheet pan. Spread seeds out evenly by gently shaking the pan.
5. Roast seeds for around 45 minutes, stirring and checking on them every 15 minutes. They'll turn nice and golden brown when done! If the seeds aren't super dry they will take a bit longer to roast. Store in an airtight container once cool.
You could mix things up by skipping the kosher salt and adding spices! Here are a few other ideas:
- Seasoned Pumpkin Seeds: 1/2 T of seasoned salt.
- Rosemary Garlic Pumpkin Seeds: 1 T dried rosemary + 1/4 t garlic + 1 t kosher salt
- Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Seeds: 2 T granulated sugar + 1 t cinnamon + a pinch of salt.
Enjoy! :)

Vintage Sheet Projects
It's a little later than I hoped, but I wanted to share some of the projects I've made with vintage sheets. I'll be writing up a little post about sewing with vintage sheets sometime next month!
This quilt was made for a swap with a friend and made entirely with vintage sheets. I had so much fun making this mini! :)
I used some leftover charm squares to make this little quick tote. A little medium-weight interfacing gave it enough body to use for a tote!
I made this patchwork blanket to use on the beach. I used some of my favorite fat quarters from the vintage sheet swap this past spring.
Used up some of my scraps to make up a set of coasters!
Used a great Sometimes Crafter tutorial for this cute scrap basket!
Made a sweet summer skirt.
Quick summer bunting with vintage sheet scraps and ric-rac!
