After receiving such great response to my packaging for the 3x6 Mini Bee blocks, I thought I'd take a few photos along the way and write up a little tutorial! You don't need much for this wrapping!
Sewing Level: Beginner Friendly
Materials:
- Fabric scraps
- Thread
- Something to wrap
1. Fold up your block (or any other small item!) and place in a brown paper lunch bag. Fold the excess over to fit the item.
2. Pull enough thread for one end of your wrapping.
3. Sew through your scrap strips. Before cutting from your machine, pull enough thread for the other side.
4. Now your decoration is finished!
5. Center on your package.
6. Tie in a knot and trim the ends. I would recommend securing it with a piece of tape.
Voila! A quick, pretty way to use up those itsy-bitsy scraps.
Enjoy!
That is so cute! Love it!
